In order to maximise your Open Rate, you might want to test different sending times and ultimately find out when your subscribers open your emails the most.

For Newsletters you are able to schedule your email to send at 2 different times of the day or even on different days. This email can send to all of your subscribers or to very specific segments of subscribers.

Step 1: Click on Schedule and Send

Once your email is fully designed, select "Schedule and Send" on the top right corner of your SmartrMail account:

Step 2: Select the Schedule A/B Test option and pick 2 different times

Once you've selected the "Schedule A/B Test", decide on two different times to test.

If you aren't sure what days to pick, feel free to read this article for more information the best days to send email marketing campaigns.

Click Confirm to save your settings and schedule this email.

Step 3: Wait for your emails to send

Once you are done, your email will be split into two sub-emails. Each of them will be scheduled to send at a different time.

You will be able to review the stats of this email right after the first batch sends, however, we please note that only half of the emails will be appearing there until the second batch of emails sends.

Et voila! You're done 🎉

Note: A/B testing on sending time cannot be used at the same time as A/B testing on subject lines.
