At SmartrMail, we are always working to provide you with the tools you need to engage with your audience effectively. With our new plans and updates, we've expanded the ability for you to communicate with non-subscribed contacts, allowing greater reach and flexibility.

Charges for Legacy Plan Merchants

If you're on one of our older plans like Standard or Unlimited, you will be charged $0.05 per notification sent to a non-subscribed contact for specific automations.

The following table presents email campaign types and corresponding contact statuses:

Automation Dashboard Updates

In the previously shared list, automations are set up to automatically send to both active subscribers and non-subscribed contacts. However, if you're on the legacy plan, you'll need to specifically enable this feature in each automation if you wish to send to non-subscribed contacts as well.

Merchants on the Essentials or the Pro plan always send to active subscribers and non-subscribed contacts by default. Merchants on any legacy plan have to enable this option by using the “Send to not subscribed contacts” toggle button.

Upgrading for More Flexibility

If you want to continue emailing non-subscribed contacts at critical moments in their journey with your brand without incurring extra charges, consider upgrading to either our Essentials or Pro plan

These plans are designed to provide more options for engaging with all your contacts without additional costs.
