Helpful tips for designing emails

All emails sent from SmartrMail's Drag & Drop composer are responsive on all major devices and email clients. However, there are still tips you should follow when designing your emails in SmartrMail.

Upload a logo with a maximum width of 600px. We retain the resolution in your images but not the size. Therefore, if your logo image has a width below 600px ensure that it is over 150dpi.

Buttons

Contrasting buttons boost conversions on emails. Use bright or bold colours that match your store's branding and have a strong call to action, i.e. "Buy Now" or "Add to Cart".

Fonts

Use different fonts for your header and body text. If you can't find the exact fonts that you use in your store, do a search on Indentifont to see what available fonts look similar. Don't know what fonts you use? Reach out to our support team and we'll find out for you.

To comply with CAN-SPAM legislation, you must include a physical address for your business in the footer of your emails.
