Automated product emails are great for keeping your subscribers engaged with emails containing products relevant to them. However for most stores – your subscribers won't want product after product in their inbox every day. Follow these frequency guidelines when sending auto-product emails.

How to Calculate Average Time Between Purchases 

  • First calculate Average Purchase Frequency

Average Purchase Frequency =
Total Orders (365 days) / Number of Unique Customers (365 days)

  • Then calculate Average Time Between Purchases

Average Time Between Purchases =
365 days / Average Purchase Frequency
